Design Wave Privacy Policy

Overview

Design Wave is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Motion Data

The app measures motion and device-orientation data while you wave your phone, solely to produce the Design Wave light-painting effect. This processing happens entirely on-device and is never transmitted or stored.

Photos

One background design lets you pick an image using Apple's Photos Picker, which runs outside the app's process — Design Wave only ever receives the single image you choose and is never granted access to your photo library. The chosen image is cropped and stored locally on your device.

Fonts

You may select an installed font for a design using the system font picker. No other data is accessed.

Storage

All designs and messages are stored locally on your device. Design Wave has no user accounts, no login, and no server — nothing syncs anywhere.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment information and have no way to identify who made a purchase; entitlement is verified on-device.

No Analytics or Tracking

Design Wave uses no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.

Network

The only network traffic Design Wave generates is an optional tutorial video download and Apple's own App Store/StoreKit traffic.

Updates to this privacy policy will appear on this page with an updated effective date.
